One hundred and seventeen kilometers away from Cebu City. Alegria boasts of its pristine beaches, scennic and echanting waterfalls, un explored caves, the famous cold gitara springs and others. The town is also proud of its rich seabed perfect for snorkeling and diving. Townfolks are working with the DENR for protecting and developing Alegria's rich aquatic resources. People are warm and friendly, you won't feel that you are away from home. "Que alegre!" exclaimed a Spanish traveler when he witnessed the festiveness of the people gathered around Tubod (natural Spring), hence Alegria. Alegria is our home, make it yours too!
